The Course
Set in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, our par 72 golf course is laid over 133 acres of beautiful parkland, that runs alongside the River Thames.
Originally designed by former Ryder Cup captain Brian Huggett, the course went through a significant investment plan with leading course architect Tim Lobb.
He worked in consultation with Huggett, primarily on the bunkers and lakes, improving their placement, appearance, and aesthetic appeal.

Accommodation
Our Alder Lodges are a fantastic alternative to a traditional hotel stay, with double and twin bedroom options, an ensuite shower room, small vanity area and wardrobe.
You will also have tea and coffee making facilities, along with glass sliding doors leading to your private, small, outdoor decking area.
These pods are a short walk from the main clubhouse building, making them the perfect option for golfers.

In 2021, we opened our newly extended clubhouse, with Spike Bar and The Ridgeway, our wonderful new restaurant, as well as two brand new state of the art swing studios, each with GC Quad technology and putting lab.
We also have a practice range and short game area to sharpen up your game before or after play.
If you feel like it, get ready for your round in our modern gym, or if you have any post round aches or pains, take a dip in our relaxation pool or book a spa treatment from our fully-trained therapists (Gym and Pool use is subject to availability, pre-booking is advised).
